Still Good, CEO

Steffen Burrows is a sustainability leader and entrepreneur with a track record of turning purpose into performance. He previously led sustainability for Sealand Gear, helping build one of South Africa’s most recognised circular economy brands, and later headed Sustainability for the Pick n Pay Group, where he drove major initiatives in food waste reduction, packaging, and climate impact.

He is now the CEO and co-founder of still good, a fast-growing startup tackling food waste by connecting retailers’ surplus groceries with consumers through discounted “Value Bags.” Under his leadership, still good has become one of South Africa’s most exciting impact-tech ventures, reducing waste, improving food affordability, and proving that doing good can scale commercially.
