Valisha Naidoo

Chief of Staff to the Chief People Officer, Eskom

Valisha Naidoo is the Chief of Staff to Eskom’s Group Chief People Officer, working at the intersection of people strategy, organisational performance and Eskom’s broader turnaround agenda. She is closely involved in enterprise-wide Human Capital priorities such as the Eskom People Strategy, future-fit workforce initiatives, digital HR transformation, programmes that strengthen the energy skills pipeline and she leads the Eskom Women in Power Programme which delivers on DEIB goals for Eskom. Her work is anchored in helping the people function move beyond policy and process administration towards becoming a strategic partner that enables operational delivery, accountability and sustainable performance.

With a background in engineering, strategy, consulting and human capital leadership, Valisha brings a practical business lens to HR. She holds a Chemical Engineering degree and an MBA (Henley Business School), among other leadership development qualifications. In 2023, she was named HR manager of the year by the South African Institute of People Management.
