Ntokozo Bhengu

Head of HR, MiWay Insurance

Ntokozo Bhengu is an accomplished HR executive with more than 18 years of experience leading people strategies across the insurance, technology, financial services, media, healthcare, and professional services sectors.

She currently serves as Head of HR at MiWay Insurance, where she drives talent, culture, organisational effectiveness, and workforce transformation initiatives. Prior to joining MiWay, Ntokozo was HR Executive at BCX, leading strategic HR business partnering across the organisation. She also served as HR Lead for South Africa at Marsh, where she was the youngest member of the executive committee, and held senior human capital leadership roles at AfroCentric Group (Medscheme) and SuperSport.

Throughout her career, Ntokozo has successfully delivered high-impact initiatives spanning talent acquisition, performance management, organisational design, learning and development, employee engagement, and HR technology. Her experience also includes roles at Unilever, Deloitte, Safcor Panalpina, and Computer Sciences Corporation.

A commercially minded leader with an MBA, Ntokozo is passionate about building high-performing, resilient workplaces that enable both people and organisations to thrive. She also serves as a Board Member of the Initiative for Strategic Litigation in Africa (ISLA), supporting the advancement of human rights through the rule of law.
