Nqobile Mahlangu is a seasoned  Business Information Security Officer (BISO) with a robust foundation in cybersecurity and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language. This unique skill enables her to enhance stakeholder understanding and foster more effective engagement with security initiatives. Her career at Absa Bank has encompassed key roles in IT Security, Technology Risk, Talent Management, and Cybersecurity Risk, all supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science. Her academic background further includes a BA (Honours) in Information Science, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a Master’s in Digital Business Management.

Outside of her professional life, Nqobile is a dedicated wife and mother with a love for culinary exploration. She serves as a board member of the Women’s Empowerment Network of South Africa (WENOSA), where she advocates for women’s empowerment.
