Dr Montsheng Letsoalo is a South African trauma specialist, social neuroscientist, and founder of the Trauma Neuro Institute of South Africa. Her work focuses on bridging neuroscience, behavioral health, and healthcare systems to develop scalable, human-centered models of care.

She is the developer of Neurodivergent Attachment Theory (NAT) and the Neuro-Trauma Differential Assessment (NTDA), with a strong focus on differentiating trauma-related presentations from neurodevelopmental conditions within clinical and public health contexts. Her work contributes to broader conversations aligned with global diagnostic and classification systems, including ICD-11 and DSM frameworks.

Dr Letsoalo has contributed to international research and academic discourse and will be participating within the American Psychological Association (APA) community. Her current work focuses on workforce innovation and behavioral systems integration to improve access, adherence, and outcomes in African healthcare settings
