CTO & Leader Systems Engineering, Cisco Sub-Saharan Africa

Conrad is the Chief Technology Officer for Cisco Sub-Saharan Africa. He leads the systems engineering team as well as the Country Digitization and Accelleration program for Cisco South Africa.
Conrad joined Cisco in 2006 holding several roles in the business. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and is an ICT veteran with proven expertise in the industry for 30 years.

His career at Cisco has taken him from a purely technical role, to one where he has been responsible for people, process and technology. Conrad’s current focus as CTO is on Digital Transformation, Remote Hybrid Work, Cloud, Cybersecurity and bridging the digital divide through skills development with Cisco’s EDGE Incubation program.

Conrad is a strategic thinker, thought leader, spokesperson and subject matter expert for Cisco’s technology portfolio and excels at strategic execution.“My journey at Cisco has been nothing short of incredible. Prior to Cisco Conrad held the position of collaboration specialist at Dimension Data where he started his career in 1993. His academic achievements a Diploma in Business Management Development which he attained from GIBBS. Outside of the office he enjoys motor racing, golf and cycling.
