Pat’s visionary leadership led to the establishment of the e-crime industry committee and the pioneering of South Africa’s first privately-run cyber forensics laboratory, a groundbreaking initiative undertaken for Standard Bank. This laboratory, a testament to innovation, marked a paradigm shift in the way cyber forensics was employed, revolutionizing client complaint management.

One of Pat’s most celebrated achievements resonates through the “Cyber Kingpin Nabbed” article, prominently featured in the Sunday Times. This exposé detailed a complex investigation that Pat played an integral role in, ultimately leading to the apprehension of a multi-billion-dollar international cybercrime syndicate. The impact of this accomplishment on cybersecurity awareness cannot be overstated.

Currently donning the hat of CEO at FSI, a leading cybersecurity company, Pat continues to be at the forefront of safeguarding digital landscapes. FSI’s service portfolio encompasses a wide spectrum of offerings, including information security testing and assessments, information security auditing, ISO27001 implementation, managed security services, and information security awareness and training.

Furthermore, FSI’s standing as a partner of choice is exemplified through a strategic collaboration with Bulletproof, a Gaming Labs International Company. Together, they have executed notable projects, conducting ISMS audits in alignment with various jurisdictional requirements. FSI’s collaboration with Bulletproof additively extends to ISS testing, covering network, web application, and mobile application penetration testing, as well as comprehensive encryption reviews.
