With over 17 years of experience in the tech industry, Sandika has been a trailblazer in the field. Holding a BSc in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, and a Master’s in Digital Transformation and Innovation Leadership, her educational background complements her extensive practical experience.

Currently, she serves as the Senior Manager for IT GRC at MultiChoice where she has spearheaded the Identity and Access Management Initiative. In her personal capacity, she is the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the South African Weather Services and using her expertise to provide strategic direction to the entity. She also serves as an independent board committee member for various organisations, where she provides strategic oversight in IT, digital transformation, and risk management.

Sandika is not only a leader in her field but also a dedicated mentor, inspiring the next generation to explore the vast opportunities in technology. With a dedication to continuous improvement, she is recognised within the industry for contribution to the profession.

Sandika is also a prominent public speaker and mentor, known for her engaging presentations on digital transformation and governance. She has contributed to various high-profile events, including the Women Advance ICT Summit and ITWeb Security Summit.

In addition to her professional roles, she is an active member of several industry organisations, including ISACA and the Institute of Directors in South Africa.
