I am a software engineer turned digital analytics executive & behavioural science practitioner with 19+ years in the digital space. My passion is driving business value through the provisioning, operationalization, and democratization of data-led thinking – through people empowerment, streamlined processes & strategies, powered by fit-for-purpose technology. I believe in continuous development and mastery which is why approximately 85% of hard skills are self-taught.
Throughout my career, I have worked on large scale projects that led to the commercialisation of digital data on enterprise-wide systems on mobile, web, and social media for global brands such as Standard Bank, ABSA, Barclays, Multichoice, Toyota, Jägermeister, Stella, Boschendal Wines, Hino, Cadbury, Vodacom, Cell C, South African Venture Capitalist Association (SAVCA), Phatisa, Old Mutual, and Lexus in different roles and levels.
The deep understanding of data, eCommerce, performance marketing, technology, behavioral science and business, coupled with strategic understanding of digital marketing and eCommerce allows me to approach problem-solving from multiple perspectives while identifying commercialisation opportunities in the value chain.
