Lubabalo Mnyaka is a South African medical microbiologist turned healthtech entrepreneur, and the Founder & Managing Director of Aflu Med Healthcare (Pty) Ltd, a company pioneering centralized digital healthcare infrastructure in Africa. With over 15 years of experience spanning medical sciences, business development, and healthcare innovation, he has led the creation of the HealthSpace Ecosystem—a fully integrated suite that includes Electronic Health Records (EHR), TeleHealth, Medical Billing, Disease Management, and AI-powered tools tailored for African healthcare needs.

Born in the rural Eastern Cape, Lubabalo’s early exposure to systemic healthcare challenges inspired his mission to make quality, data-driven care universally accessible. He is known for his practical, user-informed approach to building solutions that serve both private and public sectors. Under his leadership, Aflu Med Healthcare has grown from zero revenue in 2014 to a multi-million rand operation, trusted by medical professionals, NGOs, and funders alike.

Lubabalo is also active in rural health innovation, AI in clinical workflows, and digital health policy advocacy, and has represented Aflu Med at global events like London Tech Week.
