MTN launches data bundles that are valid for 12 months

According to MTN it has become the first operator in South Africa to launch data bundles that are valid for 12 months.

Effective immediately, MTN customers no longer have to worry about losing unused data bundles following the launch of MTN Data4Keeps price plans and bundles.

Once customers are on the MTN Data4Keeps prepaid or contract price plan they can also purchase MTN Data4Keeps bundles. Any MTN Data4Keeps Bundle purchases will carry a 365 day expiry from the moment a customer loads same to their MTN Data4Keeps price plan or package. The Data4Keeps Bundles can be purchased by dialling *141*2*999.

A first for the South African market, MTN Data4Keeps, reaffirms MTN’s commitment to innovation, delivery of a bold new digital world and the company’s ongoing commitment to provide tailored and streamlined products and solutions that meet and exceed the needs of its customers.

“MTN understands the users’ frustration of having to lose unused data despite the fact that data validity period is a universally applied practice. Our customers use data as a primary source of staying connected to the internet and surfing the internet, and what better way to provide them with a distinct customer experience than by introducing data bundles that consumers can keep for as long as it is available,” says Larry Annetts, Sales and Marketing Executive: MTN South Africa.

MTN Data for keeps will be available to the first 100 000 customers during the promotional period.
